Had some minnows left over from a fishing trip, so I took them to the neighbors pond and did a little top water bass fishing. Only has about 30 minutes, but the fish didn't disappoint. Hooked the big bass of the pond, but it was one of several that got away.

I always tell my buddy when he sends me a picture of a fish, he got it off the internet, it's not his or I sent you that or that's an old picture. I like giving him a hard time about fishing because he has no patience. He like beating the water where I will fish a rubber worm slowly.

After mixing/pouring 16k lbs of quikrete yesterday, we poorly chose to take the boat out on Ponca in the 30mph sustained winds. Though, we managed to find the only sheltered cove and slayed some crappie on swim jigs

Good fishing Dennis and Glock. I love a good topwater bite, especially when it is really calm and quiet and you see a little wake coming toward your lure and then all hell breaks loose! Can't beat a good mess of crappie for a fish water. The closest I have been to fishing lately is putting 4 new batteries in the boat.
