in a timely manner? (i.e. within 2 months).
Have a Savage 24f combo in .22lr / 20 ga, 24", and want to cut/crown it down to 18.1". Does the fact that there are two barrels throw off the symmetry/balance of the lathe for crowning?
Also, the front sight needs to be moved backward accordingly. It's held on with a single screw, so this will require one drill/tap. Presumably there is more metal meat farther back on the barrel for this than at it's current position. It's on the top .22lr barrel so shouldn't be a problem at all.
Please let me know. So, so very tired of waiting 6-10 months for the simplest of jobs at H&H.
