The “Club 50” free play drawing occurs once more - next week. I’m going in with less, and I’m competing with iron resolve not to yield to the sirens’ call. Since I’m already entered by virtue of the entries acquired yesterday, I can coast through it, if I don’t succumb to the sirens’ call to get aggressive on the machines. Will I maintain iron resolve? That’s harrrrrrd to say. The

only certainty is that I’m going in with $150.

I like to play the 3 reel machines once in awhile and a good margarita. What I don't like is the smoke, the tweakers, the peekers, and those who are treading water in the shallow end of the gene pool who are wasting valuable oxygen that others could be breathing. So setting in a casino for an extended period of time is not something I want to do. When I have some extra cash and feel like gambling I'll go to one of the high stakes machines, usually a $5, $10 or $25 machine, hit the max bet button and get on with it. If it hits its a good one and I cash out and hit the door. If it doesn't I'm done and out of there in 15 minutes at the most. The last 2 times it took longer to fill out the paperwork after jackpotting the machine than the actual playing time.

You know, I have never locked up a machine.
