Are there any AMERICAN made double barrel side by side scatterguns out there? I've got a hankerin' for a good coach gun, with a purdy wooden stock, short barrelled (18/20 inches) glossy blue finish and exposed double hammers. :naughty:

I see lots of Chinese made shotguns out there for $200 (+/-) but none made here in USA.

Anybody? :anyone:

There was an LC Smith at the big show a few months back...but it weren't no coach gun. 10g, 30".

I think you're best off looking for a semi-collectible LC if you want an American. Check with Yojinbo on that...he's in the know.

You can also look for a 311 Stevens. It won't have the external hammers, and you'll probably have to have the barrels shortened. They will be your least expensive SXS that was made in America.
