Honestly, it was most likely due to it occurring on private property. They can't really do anything, any decent lawyer could get it tossed on the fact that he was not driving on a public street. He should be liable for your vehicle damages, but as far as arresting him for DD, the store would have had to press charges.

what ever happened to "phisical control of a vehicle while intoxicated"?
I say step it up a notch and get the chief involved. don't be confrontational but don't forget the "L" word when politly asking him. (lawyer)

I am not looking to for compensation there was no damage to my truck. Just thought it was strange that they let a guy go that was drunk and was driving.
