fixed vs Variable Scope for my Squirrel Rifle

I have a 4x28 Leupold and it is more than enough for 100 yds or less varmint hunting.

Just an Update. I Have Mounted a Bushnell fixed4 scope but haven't sighted it in yet..

Hopefully that will happen this or next week..

Update : I took the little Savage Bolt Action over to Academy as I learned that if you purchase anything scope related, Academy will Bore-Sight your mounted scope for free.

This is a normal $15.00 Charge.

So.. ..All Set to Go Shoot and Sight this thing in... ( :

OK.. ..another update... I meant to post last week saying that I had sighted in this bolt action Savage -and man are we having fun Now -
We've been to the range a bunch lately and decided to go ahead and purchase annual memberships for both the teenager as well as myself.

The little 22 is now driving tacks . We're now going to start looking for somewhere to go squirrel hunting. Fun Times.. Many Thanks for all of the various posts and all of the Input. I've already learned a lot about scopes / optics and I've just started..
