Hey guys, need a question answered. I'm going to stay with my parents tonight and they want to go see 3 movies, the closest theater being the Harkins in Bricktown. I was wondering if anyone knows if they have gun buster signs posted? Thanks.

From what I understand that is considered trespassing if it's posted.

Only if they catch you and ask you to leave and you refuse.

Keep it concealed and they won't ask you to leave.

If they do ask you to leave for some reason then do so immediately and without question.

The sign itself has no meaning under Oklahoma law.

This is one of the many things left unclear from my CC course that I wish they would have gone into more depth about. Thanks for the reply.

Here's what I don't understand about this entire scenario:

Let us assume that I carry a concealed firearm.

Someone, somewhere doesn't "allow weapons of any type".

Someone thinks I have a firearm.

Authority figure shows up and asks "do you have a firearm"?

My Fifth Amendment rights should allow me to say "no" regardless. I am not required to incriminate myself.

My Fourth Amendment rights should prevent any "unreasonable search and seizure".

Does someone have “probable cause” in a he said/she said situation like this? I don’t think so. I’m not a lawyer and don’t pretend to be one, but….

Unless they're a figure of authority (i.e. LEO), I don't see how you telling them no can be considered breaking the law.

We are required to inform LEOs that we are carrying, but not every citizen we meet. Might as well open carry if that were the case.

Not a lawyer, just my $.02.
