A good friend of mine is a Harris County Deputy Sheriff. Bubba works the east side / Houston ship channel area. He requested that area when he joined the force. He also, voluntarily works the beer joint / strip joint area on Friday and Saturday nights. BTW, Bubba is 6'5, 350#, Larry the Cable Guy clone, who takes his job seriously, but with a sense of humor.
COPS was filming n Houston and on Friday night they were in the eastside Sheriff's Office. Standing around at shift change, a young, Cali, hippie camera man (who is 5'8", 145# ) was looking around and says, "DAYUM, with all these redneck cops in here, where's 'Bubba' and the donuts?" It was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop.
Bubba just happened to be walking in the door, carrying 4 dozen donuts, and here's the comment and says, "He's right here BOY!, what the F*** you gonna say NOW?".
Guess what camera crew was riding with Bubba that night?
