I'm new to compound bow hunting and wanted to start hunting with one. I ran across a Hoyt Raptor Invader with a new Mathews sting just installed on it... I don't know much about compound bows as I have always used a Crossbow for hunting. Anybody have any experience on this particular bow? It's in great condition and I figured for $50 it can at least get me started. Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.
I know nothing of that bow....but if it doesnt have the correct draw length it would 100% be a waste of $$$. Bare minimum go to a pro shop and get measured and shot a few bows...then go shoot the bow you are inquiring about.
