I ride a Triumph and the factory shops (5th Gear, for example) only service the brand bikes they sell.

I do my own easy stuff, oil changes and the like. But for complicated items (valve adjustment) I need a pro.

My guy (Brookside Motorcycles) went out of business and now I need someone else.

Any good guys you recommend?

Jacks Motorcycle has been in business since the 1970's. I think they are still in business and he was a Triumph rider and worked on them.

And Ron of Ron's Cycle is a great guy and is a member of the Red Castle Gun Club.

Ron must be getting on in years, I was going there when I was about 15 years old, 45 years ago.

I ended up using Synergy Motorworks on 41st across from Cycle Gear. They work on all brands and have serviced my Triumph a couple of times.

As an aside, I saw the thread and didn't realize I was the OP. Then I read the paragraph in the OP and it got spooky. "Holy cow. That's just what happened to me!" Then the light bulb turned on.
