Sounds like you have inside information. Were you there? If not, how do you know this? Not trying to dispute your statement, but would like to know your relationship to the situation.
New member first posts in cases similar to this are often from friends and family members, and are also often from trolls just trying to stir up stuff. Frankly your post reads a little trollish with what appears to me to be a studied attempt to look semi literate.

No, it's because they small egos and the strapping on an open carry is an attempt to inflate that deflated ego. This stuff is just basic backyard psychology everyone that's read the self help articles in Playboy knows this.
Another example of a part of gun ownership that needs to be more clearly understood by everyone. If you are going to arm yourself for self defense, you are also taking on the responsibilty for acting appropriately and legally in the sort of situations where you would need to use the deadly force of a firearm. Unless you can be absolutely and justifiably certain that you are not going to loose your S when S goes down, you have no business keeping a loaded gun on hand.
I read the same thing about people who insist on correcting other people's comments.

Either way... if they were in a car, fleeing the scene, he was no longer in imminent danger. If he was firing on a public street at someone moving away from him, he was a danger to anyone else who happened to be ON that street or in a building nearby and HE had then become the threat to everyone ELSE.
Sounds like the police stopped the threat. Exactly what they are paid to do. Sad situation, but this is like claiming Trayvon Martin is a martyr.
