From what I understand and I could be completely wrong, TU wouldn't be against allowing students to CC if law allowed it. We even allow students to lock up their personally owned weapons in our gun locker.

The law does allow it. More precisely, the law allows a college or university to allow it if they so choose.

Been listening to the clips all day on the radio. They are just clips mind you, so context is pretty much nonexistent. But it sure sounds like he's in damage control mode. It also sounds like he's perfectly fine with everyone going absolutely ape $h!t over the mere rumor of a gunshot. "Can't be too safe" is the overall idea. God what lemmings!
