What does "overmarried" mean exactly? Better looking? Looks that are in a different class? Aren't most (all?) men overmarried?

"Overmarried" means you managed (somehow) to land a woman who could have done a whole lot better than to end up with you! This can be looks, brains, class, general appeal, personality, etc.


I was lucky as hell... my wife is an MD as well, and has about 3 ****-tons more class than me on her worst and my best day! No doubt about it...


Plus... she proposed to ME!

This is a cute thread!!

Anyone who has seen us can tell you we are both built more for comfort than speed these days but that doesn't mean I didn't marry well above my station in life.

I don't know what GC sees in me but I thank my lucky stars every damn day that he loves me. He is a damned fine man and I am grateful he is mine.
