I was afraid you might take this news hard.

I've carried a Glock pistol of some caliber and configuration on a daily basis for over 32 years. My very first was a gen2 model 23. It was so new and fresh, it had NFML mags and a full length (not captured) recoil rod and spring.

That's how far back me and Gaston go.

Oh sure, I've tried other pistols since 1991. I've carried wheel guns, a Sig P220, a Smith & Wesson 645, M&Ps, 3rd gen Smiths, XDs, Beretta 92s, even a 1911 or two. But I've always came back to Glock as my go to.

It's true, he wasn't quite JMB, but Gaston built a product that took the entire firearms community (especially LE) by storm. He will be sorely missed.
