The ability to CONTROL WHAT THE UNWASHED MASSES THINK, is the most powerful weapon, and has caused more HARM, than anything ever invented by the human race, throughout history! And just look at the rudimentry propaganda tools they had to work with, compaired to what we have now!! Is that scary or what?
Trouble in PARADISE? With the new technology we have now, people everyewhre are MUCH better informed! That makes them MUCH harder to FOOL, and CONTROL!! How long can Communist China, and North Korea, and their state run news media, continue to control the masses with FEAR, and PROPAGANDA? For that matter how much longer can OUR government, and our state run news media, continue to FOOL us with FEAR, and PROPAGANDA? Should get intresting, don't yo;u think?

Well it can, and is, being used both ways! It scares me to think of what butchers like Hitler, and Stalin, were able to do with very rudimentary propaganda tools, and what could be done with what we now have? Hopefully better informed people will recognize this for what it is!!
On the other hand, if they had had "social media" back in that time period, people might have had an opportunity to see evidence that the propagandists in both regimes was an outright lie. As it was, their only source of information WAS the propaganda media.
