Yep, let's just pay everyone $15 an hour. All is well.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. Their very kindness stings with intolerable insult. C.S. Lewis
She is an undeniably sharp cookie. I heard her speak on the housing bubble back in '04 or '05, and she had it pretty well nailed. I disagreed quite strongly with her solution (I'm not a freaking socialist), but she was quite prescient in nailing a big problem.I'm onboard with cleaning up the banks and the revolving door between Washington and Wall Street but the downside to her and those like her is that she and she alone knows what's best for us.
That faux Pocahontas can piss up a rope.
I don't give a damn if any of her ideas are good. She's just another lying, elitist progressive with hidden agendas.
Yes and no. While I agree with most of your post, a good idea is a good idea. Problem is that she would not know a good idea if it bit her in the a$$.
