Anybody ever use one? What are your thoughts? Clear?
This is kinda a lame reply, but.... I used to hunt with a guy that spared no expense when it came to rifles and scopes and he used the Shepards without any complaint. Granted, that was a few years ago, but he liked them on a 300 weatherby and 270 weatherby.
Their Shotgun News ad is very assertive. Their scopes are upwards of $600.
The ad has an error regarding "shots under 25 years." I called them about it three years ago, they said "thanks, we'll fix it," but it's still there.
I am told their CEO is a stone fox.
Since lower price scopes perform to the "minute of deer" level, I have not bought a scope in this price range. CB

I have a P3. I think its pretty clear and have been able to put 6 shots on an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper out at 500 yards. NO complaints here about it.
thanks for the feedback. i have to make up my mind now.
What's a sheherd scope?
i would get a laser range finder and a zeiss conquest,leupold or high end burris
