Saw this little guy in the yard today. I'm assuming he's some sort of non-venomous variety but I'm not sure. He was pretty long...maybe 3'...and very thin. Very plain brownish/gray color with a bright-looking underside. And he was REALLY fast!

Anyone?

All I can say is it’s NOT poisonous.

A boy scout has found a snake and asks his scout leader, "Sir, is this snake poisonous?"

The scout leader says, "No, young man, that snake's not poisonous at all."

So the boy picks up the snake, which bites him. Moments later the boy drops to the ground and starts to spasm and foam at the mouth as the other kids look on in horror.

The scout leader says, "But...that snake is venomous. Poison is ingested or absorbed, while venom is injected. Let's get it right next time, boys."
