I worked a crash one time (man on a bicycle got hit, didn't make it) I went with the trooper to notify the next of kin. I watched this HUGE OHP trooper cry like a baby as he told the mother that her son (adult) had been killed. I felt so sorry for him and at the same time was glad I wan't the one having to notify them.
I agree. Damn good stuff.

He did a great job. It brings back 1992 when a trooper knocked on our door to tell us that our 17 year old son had died in a wreck. We felt sorry for the trooper. That part of the job must suck.
