I think the vast majority of American Christians don't want anything at all to do with Putin and his brand of Russian Orthodox Christianity. Not all Christians are the same. Just as all Jews and all Muslims aren't the same.

The spokesman for the church - which is seen as close to Putin - said Russia should not be dictated to by liberal Western values, and urged a referendum on a return to a Soviet law enacted by Stalin which criminalised homosexuality.

The further we get away from our judeo Christian heritage in the name of multiculturalism and political correctness the worse we are as a nation.

Putin is a hell of a lot better leader than Obama. I guarantee he would not be putting up with the border crap in Russia that Obama is ( wink, wink, vote democrat ) putting up with at our southern border.

It is pretty bad when many patriots I know actually have more respect for Putin than Obama. Before anyone plays the race card I would support a decent man like allen west before a disgrace like Harry Reid.

You are right. Lets not forget Obama and Pelosi claim to be Christians. I firmly believe real Christian patriots see the way. Sadly the Russian leader is right and our disgrace is not.

For AK shooters, given the escalation of violence in the Russia/Ukraine conflict, if you are in need of ammo I recommend stocking up on steel case 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 calibers while prices are down. The Ukrainian Factory UCW is now under sanctions and it was recently captured and now controlled by rebels as their civil war rages. We will no longer be able to get ammo from that source. This leaves only Russia as a source for low cost ammo used by recreational shooters of these calibers and it is possible supply could be effected if the war continues and foreign relations with Russia worsen.

If Putin is a "christian" Ill kiss your butt in the middle of main street. He may call himself a christian but anyone can do that. His actions in no way speak to being a christian as I know one. What a joke. If you truly believe this man or beast which ever you choose to call him is a christian Ive got some ocean front property in Oologah! The man is the devil in every way. His day of judgement will mean Hell for sure.

I would say the same about Obama based on his actions and policies. Putin is far from perfect but I would say he is far more likely to be a Christian than Obama. Unlike Obama though I respect your differing opinion.

Agreed. Yet who is supplying the information about the man which we as reasoning beings use to form our opinions? Much of what we are told by our government is given to us by the media. Who owns the media? Does the media have an agenda? Who controls the media?

This government and the many administrations prior repeatedly lie to the people it supposedly represents. The media doesn't check it at all and is in bed with it, making the media a defacto state media and a whore of an institution. Same goes for the education system. And just about every other facet of life in America. All controlled by the central government. Which makes the US a socialist nation.

Most Americans form their opinions of other nations, ethnic groups, religions, etc. based on the information provided by the USGov via the state controlled media. This fact is obvious by the many views often expressed on this forum. Close scrutiny shows that only a handful of forum members hold views completely opposite of the main body of members. Either we're wrong or the easily lead masses are wrong. Seeing the pure ignorance and stupidity of the American public at large on a daily basis prompts me to view the masses as being wrong. There is no fix for stupid except the facts. And since the USG controls the media, the "facts" are controlled to render a desired outcome... ignorant Americans that are easily manipulated.

I defend the philosophical view of Christianity of the Non-Agression Principle and the Golden Rule even though I'm not a Christian. I prefer to defend Christians who abide by those same views and discount those Christians who rattle sabers which on this forum are many. In my view those Christians are Christians in name only. They don't live the life preached by Jesus. Hypocrits with a massive beam in their eye.
