My brother and his wife took their grandson (11 yrs old) down to the ranch last weekend to see if he could bag a bird....not only did he bag a bird he shot the biggest tom with the longest beard of my brothers family.....21.75#'s with a 9.75" beard.....check out his happy face.....he also shot the largest buck in my brothers family this last year.....

Saw a longbeard and nine hens together this afternoon about 5pm in northern Alfalfa county. That's late to have than many unbred hens.
