Part of their strategy is asymmetric economic warfare. They spend a few thousand dollars on an attack, we wind up spending billions, or trillions of dollars in response. They're breaking us this way. Look at what the 9/11 attacks cost and how much we spent in response, war in Iraq and Afganistan, the TSA, Homeland Security, etc. Not to mention the destruction of our way of life and loss of liberty.

Yea the governement is pushing their agenda but so are the Muslims. Yea our govenment is going about it the wrong way but don't under estimate Islam. Their shouldn't be fear but knowledge in dealing with terrorist. How's that old saying know your foe.

Wrong. The .gov is in the control business. Fear is simply a tool to accomplish control. The terrorists use fear to change public policy through political pressure. Ultimately, their goal is America as an Islamic nation under Sharia law. For now they'd be content with the U.S. withdrawing from all Islamic nations.

like all extremists thier goal is to convert. the Catholics did it several times way back when. they have been doing it ever sense. Christians still go and try to convert the non-believers. not all Muslims are evil. terrorists be it the rag head or the christian who wants to kill all abortion doc's or anyone else who doesnt believe thier radical belief.

until we actually stop thinking and being told that islam is evil and only christians are good. and we stop being told all of islam is radical so we have to kill them all will we be able to start having acceptance of this being a good thing. i for one think the fear has been good for the christian terrorists that is trying to take over this country as they have surly created great divides. they have caused people to second guess their history. mission accomplished to both radical islam and radical christians
