I don't live in that crap hole either.
I hear ya. I actually don't live in ghetto Tulsa, either; I live out in Petticoat Junction. Safe and wholesome out thattaway.
I don't live in that crap hole either.
Which part of Tulsa is the ghetto?

Though this article is a bit dated.
I live in the second-highest non-violent crime ZIP code. Though with recent violent events in nearby apartments (named Magnolia Manor, Old South, and Savannah South - the Plantation and Jefferson Estates were renamed ) I imagine my neighborhood may be climbing the ranks of the violent ZIP codes as well.
Holla! I just moved from 74115 to 74135 last year. I'm in the Whiteside Park area. Where you at? All of that non-violent crime is because of the mall. Shoplifting and auto brake ins.
*Includes murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft. A negative score (in parentheses) indicates a composite crime number below the national rate, a positive number is above the national rate.
337 Broken Arrow, OK (44.95)
331 Norman, OK (41.74)
366 Edmond, OK (57.08)
54 Lawton, OK 123.63
50 Oklahoma City, OK 126.96
28 Tulsa, OK 155.51
Makes one wonder what the rankings would be without motor vehicle theft data. Seeing that NYC, Tacoma, Federal Way, Jacksonville, and Chicago are supposedly safer places to live than Tulsa and OKC I have to raise the BS flag on this one.
I am between Best Buy and Sam's, just north of the Mosque.
I like Whiteside; I take my son to play there. Weird that they don't have swings though.
