Need an attorney!

I know there are some attorney's on here, but is anyone a personal injury attorney? I think I need to get one.

Back in April of this year, me and a buddy were heading home from shooting pool, and we were going to another friends house, he was driving and I was in the passanger seat, and we were getting off the interstate and a U-Haul swevered into our lane and hit us on the passanger side, and after we got hit, my door was smashed and would not open, so I had to climb out of the window, and my foot got caught on the seat belt, so I fell and hit my head on the road.. I end up going to the ER by amblance and they told me I had a concussion..

They U-haul's driver had insurance with progressive and I guess they accepted Liability, but I have not been able to get ahold of anyone, I leave many messages and nobody calls me back, so I decided I would just get a lawyer to handle it..

The only person here that I know for sure is a attorney is JB Brooks, but don't know if he takes this kind of thing. Is anyone here interested in taking my claim?

I am not an attorney, but did stay at a Holiday Inn Express....In all seriousness though, first thing you need to do, is file a claim with your buddies insurance, they will pay your claim, and go after them to recoup. You can also file a complaint with the insurance commission.

Yeah, if we were not hit, I would not have had to crawl out of the window, and would not have hit my head..

I was not driving, I was wearing a seat-belt, I did nothing wrong and neither did my buddy, so I should not be out the $1100 for an ambulance ride and another $2000 for an ER visit.

Also I am of legal age to drink, I was not driving, I was wearing a seat-belt, I did nothing wrong and neither did my buddy, so I should not be out the $1100 for an ambulance ride and another $2000 for an ER visit.

I see. Well, I probably wouldn't go around starting out with "I was drinking." It just came across like "I was drunk at the time of the accident (even though you weren't driving) and I fell and hit my head (easy to assume it was alcohol related) and now I want money."

Not saying that's what you are doing or even saying that's the case. I would just be careful about posting it and even sharing that part of it with anyone.

Soulman speaks the truth. I would deff leave the drinking part out of it. Even if the other guy is liable, their insurance company is going to try to find any way to not pay you claim.

I don't think they really have a choice of not paying, I was injured due the other guy's neglegence, and I have medical bills due to it.
