Does anyone use a shoulder rig for CC?

I'm thinking about it. I like to use different carry guns and would like to occasionally carry larger frames. I don't own any shoulder rigs so any input is appreciated.

During the winter when I am typically wearing a light coat all the time and a jacket over some of the time. My dress is pretty darn casual so no blazer or dress jacket to cover. I actually love mine. I am left handed, and it is one of the best setups I use. That is with either a 1911 or a Sig P220 SAO .45

I have been wondering something similar, but have been thinking about items like the "Packin' T" or "Concealment Tee". I wear long sleeve dress shirts but usually no coat, so I still worry about printing, has anyone tried a product like this?

Nope, because it's one of the worst ways to carry. Those that are considering it might want to take a CQB course/pistol course and see how much it slows you down and how much leverage you lose with that method of carry.

Ie your rig custom made or did you order. Any details would be appreciated.

Alright, I give up. Where does the human in your avatar carry her weapon?

I use my shoulder rig during the winter months. Or if I am wearing a suit. I really like it, it does have a slower draw time than a owb/iwb, but I really like it.

Mine is a Galco "Jackass"

Here is a picture of my actual rig and my Glock 22 in it

Actually I have no idea where it came from lol. It was my dad's, he gave it to me when he decided it shrank too much for him to wear. He just bought another setup and sent this one to me. It does have a full chest strap that I don't use. Main point is to stabilize it. I find it very uncomfortable and really doesn't improve much over without it. I'll try to get a few pics of it up for ya.

I totally disagree with the worst way to carry. There is a tactical approach to every method of carry. Some work for some people, others don't. Just train with what you like. Chances are great if you ever have to use it, there won't be an instructor around and it won't look anything like it did in class anyway...
