Dang. Were any of you guys looking for milsurps, or solely for modern firearms? If the latter, then I could see where good deals would be sparse. In the milsurp department, I saw a few good deals, and I wasn't looking hard. And aren't any of you looking for good deals on M855 ammo? Have you found the Federal 420-round cans any cheaper than $140 OTD from a vendor?

I saw a British Enfield No.4 MK 1 that I considered buying.

There are a few deals if you look. Also, if you are not jonesing for a "deal," there is a good selection. In otherwords, if you are willing to pay market price, as opposed to trying to get a "deal," there is a nice selection.

Personally, I don't want a "deal" when I am at a gun show, I want to make the seller or buyer feel like he was violated in a prison drama.
i am not necessarily looking for a great deal, but i dont want to get raped either!!!

Saw some decent deals:

HK 91 for $2000
P7 Grade A for $625
Browning .22 rifle for $275
Built STI race in .40 for $1200
NIB Sig P210 for $2100

Didn't buy anything, though.

Went to the show and thought I had a good day. Talked with HMFIC, Wizard and Bill Coye. Bought two Coye Ridgebacks and a hat, a backpack, three plastic ammo boxes, four surplus .50 Cal ammo cans, a butt plug for my Glock 30SF, and a knife sharpener. Getting a great deal, for me, is secondary to being able to handle merchandise and paying something close to internet prices plus estimated shipping. The members here that live close to Tulsa or OKC have an advantage I don't enjoy living in Ponca City. Namely, stores to shop at. Just about everything I get I have to order without being able to handle it first and then pay for shipping besides. I payed $6.95 for the butt plug for my Glock 30SF. Yes, it would have been cheaper online but shipping would have cost as much as the item. Or I could drive 1-1/2 hours to the city and run around to how many places looking for one. So, I don't look for great deals, just good deals on the items I like after I have examined them.

Man, couple quick swipes with the delete button and that is a funny read.

I get a kick out of folks who say they can find no deals at gun shows. I haven't been to a gun show in years where I haven't found OUTSTANDING deals, not just good deals...outstanding. This show was no different and I done very well, buying as well as selling. In fact, the tables around me got some fine deals as well, a few that would make your head spin. If you cannot find any then you're doing something wrong...

The problem is everyone expects to find EXACTLY what they are looking for at a bargain price. They go in looking for a Ruger Gz500 thumbnut and get pissed when they don't find it at a giveway price.

I had a great time at the show today and made some deals, but the camaraderie was by far the best part.

I got some things but couldn't find a Nagant revolver to buy that was decently priced. Only ones I saw decently priced were 6 up around row 34 for $135 each but by the time I hit the ATM, some guy came and bought them all. Anyone see any? TK supply usually has them but it appears TK supply didn't come to the show.

I got lots of flares and ammo though.
