I Carry as much gun as I can, according to clothes and threat level. If I thought there was a chance for gunplay I'd bring a shoulder fired weapon and armor, which is the only way to be prepared for the worst imho. If I KNOW there's gonna be a gunfight, i'm wearing hard and soft armor, helmet, MP5 or AR and friends with the same. Everything is a compromise.

I have often on this forum and others as well people saying that they change their CC for different situations .This is something I don't get. How do you know what situation you are going to face? Going from a bad part of town to a good part so you carry something lighter or less ammo. Would it not be better to always be prepared for the worst . I will only use one example as to why changing CC methods is flawed logic. Sharon Tate and the and the others killed by Charles Manson and his so called family. Those killings were in "good neighborhoods". As for me I will carry the same if I were on the bad side of town or good side and even if I am in a Church . That way I not only keep in a rhythm but I always am as prepared as I can possibly be . Just my opinion .
Well, you can never leave your house without armor and an AR15, but I don't want to live my life that way.

Whatever works for you.

I carry the same way as much as I can. A Glock 23 w/ CT laser either IWB in a DeSantis 105 holster or else OWB in a Blackhawk Serpa II holster. Covered by a EOTEC light weight long-tailed tan vest. Backed up with a Ruger LCP .380 w/ CT laser in a Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster.

I never have had a problem with printing. Just in keeping my pants up. :pms2: There has been a few times I had to dig out the old suspenders when wearing the Desantis 105 because it has such a slick leather back. I finally put a little bit of velcro on it and it works very well now.

LOL, I have a couple of different owb holsters. They are much more comfortable, but i cant hide them.

Some of the others with more knowledge can correct me if I'm wrong.. but the exposure law or printing issue is vastly different between Oklahoma and Texas. In Texas, if even the bottom of your holster shows beneath your shirt or vest or your weapon even remotely prints through the shirt... then your in violation of the Texas CC law.. it is VERY STRICT.

But in Oklahoma, the bottom of the holster can show.. just not any part of the gun itself [Because showing a portion of a holster isn't illegal... holsters are sold over the counter at Walmart.... no different than cell phone holsters or the leather sheath for a buck knife!] I've walked around in a Walmart with a pancake holster on with my Glock 21 under my vest.. and I knew a police officer could see the bottom of the holster and he didn't say anything because the gun itself was concealed. Without more, just because someone sees a bit of leather poking out from under your shirt or vest, they have no way of knowing if it is a empty holster or not. As for printing.. if it doesn't look like a "gun" then it is simpy a buldge... and you can't control what people think. If bulges could be declared a gun, then the police would be eyeing all the fat guys like me. :o
