Midtown Tulsa -
Shots were fired Saturday afternoon at Best Buy.

Just after 2:00 p.m., Tulsa Police and EMSA responded to multiple reports of shots being fired at the Best Buy at 5520 East Skelly Drive.

Authorities told Tulsa's Channel 8's crew on the scene that shots were fired from the parking lot, one bullet hitting a customer in the parking lot and another bullet penetrating the glass and hitting a customer inside the store.

The one in the parking lot was the intended victim, according to police.

EMSA took both shooting victims to Saint Francis Hospital in critical condition.

Police said both have since been pronounced dead.

Tulsa Police Dispatched confirmed that two volunteer chaplains went to Saint Francis to talk to the victims' families.

Police said the suspects left in a dark-colored sedan.

Tulsa's Channel 8 has a crew on the scene. This is a developing story, and we will bring you further details as they become available.

Tulsa is definitely becoming a more dangerous place. I have heard of more shootings this year than any other in the last 30 yrs. Seems someone is getting shot every week here now.

Just another reason I carry a weapon every time I leave the house. If someone ever shoots me or at me, I'm gonna do every thing in my power to take them down. A few yrs ago, I had just left my local Walmart less than 5 minutes before a gang banger chased a guy inside the front door and shot him several times with a 9MM semi-auto. It was just after midnight. I had been standing there talking with the greeter for about 15-20 minutes... and had just gone out and gotten in my car and was leaving the parking lot when the shooting happened. It happened less than 15 feet from where I had been standing.

The shooter has no idea how close he came to taking 3-4 .40 cal JHP's to his mid-section that night. With that CT laser @ 15 feet, he wouldn't have left the store under his own power.

The old gal who was the greeter had to take several weeks off for psychological trama.. and to this day she refuses to work around the door area.

Yes as others have said carry everywhere, it may be that one time you don't feel like carrying thy you need it the most! Protect and educate your families as well!

People laugh at me for carrying. I carry in my own HOUSE, I carry to family gatherings, I carry because you NEVER know when you will need to defend a loved one or yourself.

Prayers to the victims and their families.
