Yeah, A couple of weeks ago I got a notice that another truck I have in My driveway had an expired tag and was considered to be an inoperable vehicle unless they were "current" and was given 3 days to rectify the situation, because NO inoperable vehicles are to be stored on ANY lot.

Pretty sad actually that they are goin to these extents to bring up revenue using the excuse of safety. How about they try getting a handle on all these darn kids running the streets in BA committing all these crimes recently & forget about stupid tint
What if you have a skin disorder & need to limit the amount of sunlight so your windows are tinted dark? Or people with light sensitivity in their eyes having a strip across the windshield to cut down on the brightness which actually increases their ability to see while driving?

These tint laws are severely flawed & in place for the wrong reasons.

+1,000 to both.

I'm a little torn on this one... I'm all for officer safety, but I think there are some things about the tint law that don't make any sense. I'm confused for one about why a truck or SUV can have darker back windows but not a passenger vehicle??

I'd like to hear some more detailed opinions about both sides... I'm not sure I've considered it all myself.

I AGREE....an SUV full of people could be easily concealed from the front seat back and not seen through the front windows at all.

Is this a municipal ordinance? How do they determine whats excessive? Does it make any reference to state law regarding tint?
