The Disovery channel bows down to liberal media and public after the school shooting and has not renewed "Som of Gun" and "American Guns". Two of my sons and I favorite shows to watch together. Fox News reports that The Discovery Channel feels the public thinks the show glorifies guns and the fun of shooting. Duh! I never saw any one shot on the show, Just people enjoying shooting guns and the history of guns. WOW they gave into censorship and limiting of the First Ammendment. I guess I will have to give up "Deadliest Catch" and boycott the dicovery Channel. How else can I express my displeasure?

I agree with them being cancelled, not because of the reason stated by OP, but because they both suck.
The first amendment doesn't apply to what tv shows a network aires or doesn't air. I don't even think this is censorship since they aren't being kept from saying anything and its not the government that is forcing the discovery channel to do this.
I hate the event that caused this and am disappointed with the logic behind this, but as to the loss of those two shows, I think America won't be hurt too much.
A company made a business decision based on its perceived audience related to marketing a product for sale to advertisers.
