What do you guys use for field tags?

Re-usable tags, maybe something laminated with a eyelet or just a piece of paper taped to the deer?

Like Allout, I use a tag similar to a dog tag with my information stamped in. I use a sharpie magic marker to write current kill information on the back of tag. B12 will remove magic marker ink easily when it isn't needed anymore.

We a bunch of them one year by printing paper tags, then laminating them at a Kinkos. They are attached to the carcass with a zip tie through the leg tendon. Mark on 'em with a sharpie.

I was thinking about having a few laminated with a eye let then using a zip tie to secure it to the deer. I could write the check in formation on the back side with a sharpie.

Best ive seen is just write on a zip tie. Attach it and the tag end that hags will have all your reqquirwd info.

I printed a few templates and have a small pouch from horn hunter I believe. It works great. Dog tag seems to be a great idea also

That's what I do too. Got the dog tags at one of the local milsurp places. I hang it around the neck with the chains. Went all fancy in brass too:)

Same here.

Write the info on the INSIDE of the zip tie with a fine point sharpie, and the info won't get dragged off when pulling the deer out. I do a dozen or so at the start of the season, put them in the backpack and go for it.

Do the regulations require the date and time of kill on the tags?
