Predictions for gun & ammo pricing/ availability in the next 28 months.

With AR's at all time low prices, 5.56, 7.62, 9mm, 45ACP, etc. all available, what's your prediction of the next "Buying crisis"? The 8 Nov 2016 Presidential election will probably put a move on items, more so if it's a close race. As the candidates are identified, have no doubt that anti gun groups will push their agenda to the front of every possible discussion.

What about another domestic terrorist act like Sandy hook? Or even worse- international terrorist act(s?) that pokes everyone's sense of security in the eye and prompts people that wouldn't normally buy guns or stock up on ammo, to do so?

So, considering that many here already have a reasonable stash of beans and launchers, when's the next frenzy going to hit?

I wonder how many panic buyers that buy after a terrorist attack, especially ones that had never owned a gun, become hypocritical at the next election when they still vote for someone like Pelosi, Schumer, etc? There was a guy here where I live that had his FFL, but was also an Obummer supporter; when some of his conservative family gave him grief over it, he let his FFL go.

Hard to tell, could be tomorrow. As far as a planned frenzy, I would say the presidential elections is an good bet. I think ppl will just be happy that O is out.

The panic buying was set off by lawmakers (all the way up to the president) standing on the shoulders of our slain children espousing the virtues of gun control. The backlash has been incredible. Many of those lawmakers have been voted out of office. In fact, there are more political ads with politicians holding or firing firearms this year than in an year in history. Using an attack on our citizens, whether that attack comes from inside our outside our borders and regardless of age, as a vehicle for passing more gun control is now seen as a sure fire way to destroy your political career.

In short, politicians have figured out that we're not going to give up our guns quietly, and to try and take them will only assure the end of their career. School shootings are no longer a hot button issue that can be used to take our rights. There have been a number of school shootings since Sandy Hook. The backlash is too great to attempt to use our dead children to pass legislation.

It will take the a new way to attack our rights to own firearms. It won't be "keep our kids safe" or "keep our streets safe." and "this keeps guns out of the criminals hands" is an outright lie - and politicians know we know this. I'm not sure what angle will be used next, but I can guarantee you that there WILL be an angle and they WILL keep trying.
