Cold beers in the shower?

I'm white trash enough to have done this for a long time. My best friend and I did a long camping trip broken up by single nights in hotels to shower every few days, and he made fun of me fun of me for my shower beer habit. I finally convinced him to take an ice cold tallboy of Rainer Beer to a hot shower, and he is a lifelong convert. My girlfriend has also seen the light.

A shower beer should be come in a can, be extra cold, cheap, and light. Schlitz, PBR, Modelo, Hamm's, Old Style...all good shower beers. There is no wrong time for a shower beer, but they are best after manual labor or preceding a night on the town. Or a family holiday.

When you can't even take a break from consuming alcohol long enough to shower, you are no longer a casual drinker.

Not casual? That must make it formal. If drinking cheap beer in your birthday suit is formal to you, please don't invite me to any dinner parties.

The best part is in the morning when my wife gets out of the shower in the morning with a beer can (my left over empty) and I tell her it is a little early for that!!

Ok ok ok, how do you keep all that tepid water from getting into your man pop?

My old house, I had a shower with 9ft ceilings and a small window with a tiled sill at about 7 1/2 feet. Perfect shower beer shelf. I've been meaning to ad one at my new place, but for now, I'm just careful.

I designed/built my last house, btw. That shower beer window was not an accident.

After gaining access to a cooler of beer that belonged to campers, the bear avoided cans of Busch beer and used its claws and teeth to open and then consume the cans of Rainier. Back in the Army days, I learned this early on. After a week (or three) without a shower, the three beer shower made everything right and clean.

Don't set your beer on the top of the shower door frame. Can fall off when exiting shower, dumping on your nice clean bod. Then you have to go get another beer and start all over. This time setting in the little rack that hangs around the shower head. How do I know?

Damn it! I had a long day, worked outside, then took a shower, THEN had a beer. Perfect oppurtunity for shower beer wasted!!! I'll have to try it...I guess...maybe I'll be the next convert
