I bristle every time a a private business like this is called a "public accommodation", and then anti discrimination laws are applied to it. Anti discrimination laws should only apply to government entities. Private parties, ie "We The People" should be allowed to discriminate as we see fit. And if you don't like how a business discriminates, don't give them your business.

Philosophically you are on the right track. However in practice, freedom of association business dealings tends to lead towards denial of service to whole groups of citizens. I wish it weren't so but that's how it is.

Yes it is wrong to make ppl to go against their religious beliefs. It is more wrong for them to discriminate against the public. One outweighs the other in the big scheme of things. So too bad so sad. The world is bad enough without endorsing hate. Marry the gays or close the doors to the public.

One does not outweigh the other, especially when there are numerous ministers out there who will marry gays and they could always get married in the court house. If there weren't alternative options easily available and this circumstance provided a significant obstacle in the way of them invoking their rights, only then would I agree with your statement.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof: ..." Isn't it strange how Congress can't do it but somehow the City of Coeur d'Alene can prohibit the free exercise of religion after the Court has "incorporated" the First Amendment to apply to the several states as well as to Congress ... ?

Fight it tooth and nail and end up owning the City of Coeur d'Alene.

Murder is evil.....I wonder how many ministers refuse to marry a murderer, or a divorced person, or an adulterer, or an athiest, or interracial couples, or interfaith couples, or [name your "sin"]. I am also curious as to how many of these ministers are free from sin and thus righteous in their firm stance....actually I know that answer to that(it is zero).

Sometimes ya just gotta drag religious beliefs of the dark ages. If reason doesn't work then ya just gotta be mean and fine them.
