Murder is evil.....I wonder how many ministers refuse to marry a murderer, or a divorced person, or an adulterer, or an athiest, or interracial couples, or interfaith couples, or [name your "sin"]. I am also curious as to how many of these ministers are free from sin and thus righteous in their firm stance....actually I know that answer to that(it is zero).

Most ministers spend more time ministering to a congregation. I doubt the Hitching Post has a congregation.

The difference is that the minister is most likely trying to live without sinning and is repentant of any sins, rather than continuously, unrepentantly being engaged in sinful behavior (whatever that behavior may be).

If bigots and homophobes would try to accept other people, instead of shunning, segregating or inflicting violence on them, government wouldn't have to step in.

I doubt the men will need a counter to Bartertown. Hormonal issues will probably cause internal strife, and inevitable breakdown there.

No earthquakes have leveled California. Old Testament is stories to scare children while New Testament is stories to promote peace and love amongst the nations.

I find this to be a very interesting post, given your view on women ...

I work with women everyday. I don't believe women should be mistreated, or prevented from fulfilling whatever dreams they may have.
There is no sidestepping the fact that women often let hormones get in the way of good judgement. (kind of like a 16 year old boy)

Then you have the attitude - "I am woman!"
A friend of mine is terrified he'll get on a plane with a female pilot. His thought is, she'll have a fight with her husband, storm off to work needing to feel validated, hop into to the cabin, and say I"LL SHOW YOU I CAN FLY THIS PLANE!
I can see that happening.
