I guess you don't know the Navy is the real air force. They have more planes than the zoomies. Somebody has to cover their shortages since they spend all their budget on golf courses and tea parties.

Per wikipedia:
US Air Force:
Active 18 September 1947 – present
(67 years, 2 months)[1]
Country United States of America
Allegiance United States Constitution
Type Air force
Size 332,854 active personnel
185,522 civilian personnel
71,400 reserve personnel
106,700 air guard personnel
$140 billion budget
5,638+ aircraft
450 ICBMs
63 satellites[2]
US Navy:
Size 325,143 active duty personnel[3]
107,355 reserve personnel[3]
289 ships[3]
3,700+ aircraft
10 aircraft carriers
9 amphibious assault ships
10 amphibious transport docks
12 dock landing ships
22 cruisers
62 destroyers
10 frigates
4 littoral combat ships
72 submarines

It's a popular misconception; I've had several sailors tell me the same thing.

Yup, and we don't need a boat to get our planes in range. Lol

And to stay on the thread topic: Air Force already beat Army and Navy and brought home the CINC trophy...so your Army-Navy game is moot. LOL.
