I need a job

If anyone has a lead on a job I could use some help in my search. I have 30 years of HVAC tech experience,mostly residential. I have been working for a company that services temp housing at Oil field locations and was laid off recently ,I've had no luck finding any thing but part time temp work,but need something more stable. I've also done HVAC parts counter sales on the wholesale side. thanks for any leads

I think Tinker has a couple sheet metal jobs open, might look around the usajobs website and see if you can get anything there. You dont always have to have expereince in the field you are appliying for. Sometimes less is more.

Always keep an eye on the City of Oklahoma City Jobs website.

I talked to a few buddies who work for OKC and they told me that HVAC jobs have popped up form time to time. If you're in a pinch apply (with the City or State) for part-time and even any full time that you qualify for. Get your foot in the door, get on, then look around and lateral to what you want.

www.csdok.com is often hiring contractors for jobs with the FAA...climbing and construction type work. Frequent travel with per diem and OT.

Agreed. I'm sure there's room for another contractor around here. With the prices some of these companies charge these days, if you're honest and do good work, people will latch onto you and tell all their friends.

I'll keep an eye out at the places I frequent and other friends in the biz.

Heck, I could maybe work you some, but as you know, this is always a slow time of the year. If you want Pm be your number. Might not be able to work you full time, but would get some cash in your pocket at the end of the day. Shoot, I might even know you as long as you've been around.
