Things have always been offensive. IMHO, the real issue with these things is the staggering emotional entitlement some people have anymore. They believe that just because something offends them, it entitles them to some sort of protection.

In some cases, it borders on the ridiculousness of going into a restaurant and telling them the shouldn't be allowed to serve a dish because you think it tastes bad.

It is such a sweet irony, that SJWs who fight against the evils of "privilege" are only alive because they themselves receive the privilege of their opponent's ethical and reasonable nature. Go back in time 1500 years and talk to my ancient Viking ancestors the way they talk to other people, they'd last about 3 minutes.
