Life Of A Buck - In Pictures

By this, and man, was interesting. It shows the life and times of a male deer from 1.5 years old into old age, all in photos. The deer was in the middle of a wildlife refuge, and thus was not hunted. He definitely was a grower AND a shower.

Bucks that don't have those attributes, will never reach their potential.

Just proves to me how hard (impossible) it is to guess the age of a buck by looking at his antlers.

I have my doubts that it's the same deer between the pictures of ages 1 and 2 as there are no distinguishing features on the deer that I can see and no ear tag/collar. After that though, the set of pictures is entirely believable that they're the same deer and neat to see.
