I own 120 acres near Calvin, OK and I'm looking to do 10 acres of Eagle Seed Soybeans this spring. I'm trying to figure out what food plot configurations to use especially in the woods. I will be having it dozed so it can be anything I want. This is what my plans are. Any opinions good or bad?

Green where you want to plant soybeans?

I would plant soybeans in bigger plots rather than multiple smaller plots, otherwise grazing pressure will never let them get big enough to produce good forage.

Yes green will be food plots and I was thinking all soybeans. Smallest plot is 1.5 acres. The pink is where I am hinge cutting and making a sanctuary.

Yep combine the smaller ones into a few 3 acre plote if possible. If you need to hot wire until the beans are grown up, you can make it worthwhile.

like bassin said bigger plots I would have 2 plots one I could hunt with a north wind and one I could hunt with a south wind. and I would plant them on the outside edges of my place so I didn't have to walk through cover disturbing deer to get to them

I concur with Bassin and 24/7. I anticipate I will be starting a lengthy project near Gerty in the near future. I might have time to put an eyeball on your work if you want.

Sticky was pulling my leg, trying to get a rise out of me. I did not take the bait because I knew what he was up to. He did not plant any Whitetail products. We have both had a laugh over this. Come on Sticky own up.
