It seems all the warnings about looking at the eclipse were taken seriously by people. According to ER doctors there was in uptick of people showing up to ERs --

Because they had put sunscreen IN THEIR EYES before they looked at the eclipse.



Ok, if even ONE person showed up at an emergency room with this "problem" I tend to lean towards mankind being doomed -- and tR, honestly man, I don't know how you do it ... sheesh ...

I haven't had a cigar since I married the old man ... oh wait ... that gay attorney I worked for would have Macallan and cigars after hours when we won a case or got a good settlement. We ALWAYS got phone calls from building management the next day from people complaining about the "cigar smell" in the ventilation system the next day ... lol

That was an awful long time ago. That office was all business until the sun went down, then it was time to break out the bottle and enjoy the fruits of our labor, as it were.
