Grip Adapters

Hey guys, what was the name of that firm that is making grip adapters based on the old Tyler design? I tried the search function but it was not helpful here.

Tyler is still making adapters right here in Newalla, OK. BK Grips produces a polymer version as 65ny mentioned above.

Thanks guys!! I've had Tylers for more than 25 yeas on my S&W Model 65 and the copper attachment finally broke so I need to get a replacement.

Tylers are just so cool...I haven't see the others but if they will do the job, why not?

The old gun store on South Eastern in OKC (Located in Oil Well Supplier Yard) purchase Melvin Tyler business and Mashburn about 25 years ago, they sold all of the Ivory-X grips from Tyler Stock (Made with powder Ivory and a resin) These grips age like real Ivory.
Did any one purchase the formula and still make them?
Tyler MFG does not make them!
(But mfg. his trigger shoes)

I just ordered the ivory BK adapters. When they get here, I'll tell how I like them.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? Doing a bit of clean-up (actually a LOT of clean-up) and I found a package from Tyler's dated 2009 that was un-opened and completly forgoten about.

Put it on the 65 and it's good to go. I'll try the BK on one of my L-frames.
