Winchester 101 Diamond Grade Skeet.

You ever fall in love with a gun for the "dumbest" of reasons?
This has been eating away at me and I bit the bullet...its going in my safe.
My first 20ga to boot.
Its got gorgeous wood...nice and dark with good burl and even diamond-shaped inlays.
Its got great checkering in the wood in all the right places.
Its got nice engraving on the receiver, even several of the screw heads.
But the TRIGGER...thats what got me. Checkering on the part of the trigger where your finger pad hits. I dont know why I think thats so friggin cool...but it is.
It was part of the collection I've been selling, but this one got moved to my personal safe.

So...I'm going to have to do a few things

1) Get the balls to shoot it. Its NIB, legit unfired from new in the 80s.
2) See how much different a dedicated skeet gun shoots than a field gun. It has a tall rib and fixed chokes sk/sk...

But if I get to the range and can hit clays with it, you bet your ass it'll see field time in the pursuit of ringnecks!
