15 years ago I was at Cops in Tulsa and was talking to a man there that was a competition shooter. He showed me his G17 and told me he had 80,000 rounds through his glock and never had a failure. He told me he had several Wilson 1911s that he liked to shoot but if he was going to a gun fight he would take his glock.I don't remember his name but I know he was a grandmaster and the guys at the cops store were pretty impressed with his shooting abilities.

@Ignored Member. Im right there with you. As long as they make M&Ps and H&K keeps selling P30s I really have no need for a Glock past GSSF matches. That's the only reason I have to own anything Glock.

But I did recently shoot a G19.5 and I have to admit, I think I could actually learn to tolerate the Gen 5 except for the mag cutout that is only on the G19 AFAIK. They are a definite improvement in all the areas I found them lacking. Hell, it even came with decent sights!

No thanks. I'll stick with my M&P's , Kimbers and Kahrs. I can't stand the grip angle on a glock. It's inconsistent with any other pistol I shoot, and I'm all for constincancy in whatever I may have to grab in the middle of the night.
