You can hold a regular drill bit against a a spinning bench grinder wheel and make it reverse cut super easy.
It wants to sharpen that way naturally.. very hard to sharpen it to cut right hand.

Take a dull bit and try it. angle the bit into the wheel.
I save all my broken and dull bits just for this or i sharpen them for right hand which takes 4 times longer.

I do like the reverse cut for removing busted bolts.
A welded nut over the broken bolt works in some cases.

If you can get in to the area.
I have a 110 mig welder if you need and are not too far.

I weld directly onto the broken bolt and add enough material to get vice grips onto it and turn it. If I can't get a welder to it, I use a reverse drill bit followed by a spiral extractor (Hanson 11119). NAPA should have whatever you need to extract a bolt.

Snap On has left handed drill bits. They are the best thin g I have ever found to get bolts out. They drill and they torque out the bolt at the same time. Usually the bolt just unscrews as I drill.
