Looks like the Arkansas is about to drop under flood stage in Tulsa.

Well, it went from bad to worse..... a 3000 gallon tank of saltwater and crude oil dumped and is swirling around our water well. We discovered it last night about 6 pm.
Started calling DEQ, Okla Corporation Commission, National Spill Response Center, BIA, Osage County spill response team, Osage county 911, Region 6 EPA, and the US Coast Guard. Was on the phone until almost 11 pm before going to bed without much hope of help because DEQ, OCC and coast guard have no jurisdiction on tribal lands.
At 8 am this morning got some texts from the EPA and BIA that a spill response team was on the road headed our way. About 11 am three semi pumping trucks arrived along with a half dozen pickups, some towing chemicals containing absorbents and others with spray tanks of microbes to eat up the crude they said that couldn’t be vacuumed from the water.
They worked until 9 pm tonight in waist deep waters vacuuming the clumps of crude just getting a dent in it, and called it a day.
They will be back tomorrow.

Oh Dennis, I really feel bad for you guys. I have so many friends that have been seriously damaged by these floods. Hopefully recovery will not take too long, but in the mean time let us all know what you might need. There are enough folks here, scattered around the state, and with many talents, so there should be someone that can help some how.
