@DRC458

Sadly, I am in Idaho with family right now. I was disappointed when I saw when this shoot was scheduled. And, to top it off, after we return to Oklahoma around the 12th, we'll only have a few days before we start our new job, which will take us out of state. However, I'm hoping for a chance at some point to make it to one and get photos.

Glad you all had a good time.

I know, I know ... I follow your travels. I just had to bust your chops a little 'cause you do such a good job!

Awesome time seeing some folks from OSA at Red Rock Firearms today and pullin' triggers with 'em. :fullauto:@okierider got to experience the fun of shooting full house .357 Magnums from a S&W 340PD 11.4 oz J-Frame revolver. The expression on his face alone was well worth the trip up to Enid. Then he got slide-bit by a tiny little Walther TPH .22; the man's hand was probably still all swollen up though, so that may have had something to do with the bleeding. But we had some fun today! I really liked @gerhard1's Smith 610; sweet 10mm revolver...very nice gun. And I also liked … and … and … etc. Oh. And thanks @dlbleak for the copious doughnuts and thanks you guys for the birthday cake too. :hbd: But what was all that noise about no candles and the Fire Marshall about anyway?

:scratch:

Sounds like you guys had some fun. My father got slide bit on his thumb by my 45 S&W, he was placing his thumb of his left hand on top of his right and learned really fast it was not a good place to put it.

Maybe next time I will feel up to heading out and not end up with other things happening.

A bunch of people have done that one time, but very few have ever done it twice. :)

Teresa is having cataract surgery tomorrow morning, and as soon as she recovers, I hope to take her shooting once more. It'll be at our range just west of town, as the Red Rock is a lot farther away for us. She says she had a good time.
