The government owns every single one of us. We are not free like so many think. Sure we have more freedom than other places but we are not free. Americans always look to the government to do everything. And the government loves it. I don’t need the government to do crap for me except to leave me the heck alone. But that is wishful thinking. They will never give up their power. It will have to be taken from them. And there ain’t enough Americans that have the will to do that sadly. I said in another thread that the government will use this virus to consolidate more power and control over us. They do it every time. And nobody will do a thing about it. But hey, as long as they hand out some free money that makes it ok I guess.
If it were ever to be "taken from them", we would have to start the process again. Government is a necessary evil.
Our church has "small groups" that meet in members' homes on Sundays (right after morning services or of an evening), and although our church has cancelled services at the church until next month sometime, our small group will still meet for worship services and then the small group topic afterwards.
My congregation is having morning worship and that’s it. Sadly my wife and I cannot attend because we both have auto immune diseases. So I will do communion with just me and her at home. I checked our bulletin and attendance last week was only 80 people. I’m sure it will be far less now. And we have mostly older people in our congregation. I think they were having communion set up for anyone that wanted to come today that isn’t gonna be at worship. And they will go to peoples homes that can’t get out and have communion with them.
Maybe my tin foil hat is wore out . What if by Nov. the virus is so wide spread that we all told to stay in our homes 24/7. Then the Democraps get a change in voter laws so we can all vote from home via the internet. It might be the only way creepy Joe could get elected with mucho voter fraud.
Besides knowing how to manipulate us they now know the common reaction to this problem, We are nuckin futs!

I don't think so.
My personal opinion is that the country has came together to defeat an enemy, the same way the country came together to defeat the enemy in previous wars.
This isn't the same deal as a government takeover of our rights. Nobody is required to stay home under enforcement of law. It's all been voluntary so we can as a group defeat this virus.
Yes, there have been some regulations about not meeting in groups larger than 10 with tickets being issues if they do, but that is part of making the public aware of the danger. The government under Trump is being totally proactive on this no matter what the liberal media keeps throwing out there
Some are taking this the wrong way I think. The Government isn't infringing on your rights, just asking if you will help by staying at home.
If the government took up arms to take away our rights, I'd be on the front lines, but this situation is not the same.
