Happy Fathers Day to all. I will not get to be with my Dad this year, but I look forward to talking with him on the phone today.

I didn't know what to get my dad for fathers day this year.
So I went into my stash,
& picked out a box of 45 Auto, & 2 boxes of 9mm & gave that to him.

I want to be honest. I was not the best father (Hugh Beaumont/Mr. Beaver Clever) material. But my kids were never hungry. Had their own bed and room. (They are still living in my house in WA almost rent-free). Did I get a card today?..........NO. Did I get a text today?...............NO. Again I want to be honest and reiterate I was not perfect. Their mom passed away 20 years ago and thank GOD the military units that I was with made some accommodations for me. I passed up some opportunities in my career for them. Did I make it to their sporting events? 99.9% yes. Did I support them in whatever they wanted to do? Yes. Did I wake them up at O'dark thirty? Yes. They have never needed anything. Is it too much to ask for a simple hi/thank you today? (They are both over 21 BTW)

So sorry. My daughter snubs my wife and I on all holidays. It is sad, but it is on her. Happy Father’s Day @golddigger14s

I decided during church this morning I was craving a Patriot burger from Patriot Cafe in Sapulpa. DAMN, those things are good!

Then when church was over I looked 'em up and they're closed on Sundays, too. Just like Chick-Fil-A.

Dangit, I am just striking out today.

Maybe you can see why I would be craving it???

Happy Father's Day, schmucks. Guess maybe I gotta fire up the grill, instead of being pampered like Moms are on Mother's Day!
