I collect PPK and PPK/S pistols, I have 3 proofed "St. Etienne"... I'm curious if the slide says Manurhin or Walther on it. On the butt of the pistol there should also be a Made in France stamp. Actually, Manurhin made all the parts for the PPK and PPK/S from like 1952 to 1986; the bulk were shipped as parts back to Walther in Ulm, West Germany where they were finished, blued and assembled, which under the German laws of the time allowed Walther to say Made in West Germany on them. The ones assembled in France were normally marked as Manurhins, although some slipped through the cracks and have the St. Etienne proof along with the Made in France on the bottom of the butt but are marked as a Carl Walther PPK or PPK/S....

Sorry for the lecture, you probably knew this anyway, but pics of that PPK/S would sure be nice!
Actually, I'm not too knowledgeable on Walthers. That was pretty good information. I will find out what it says when I get it in my hands.

Didn’t plan on buying this but it was an impulse since it was local and I won’t get to make it to OKC for the rest of the year and needed to scratch the itch I’ve been having for a new gun. I Also got a good deal on it. Not sure how I’ll like this little .380 but it Might be a good pocket gun. If anyone has any holster recommendations let me know.
